Dorchester Insurance Brokers Ltd is an independent, family owned, insurance brokerage located in Dorchester, ON. The brokerage was founded in 1989 by Brian Wallace and Ken Thornton. Ken’s son, Derek, joined the brokerage in 2002, followed by Brian’s son, Owen in 2008. Upon Brian and Ken’s retirement in March of 2010, Derek and Owen took over full responsibility for the business. At the same time, they welcomed Dorchester resident, Joanne Murphy, as receptionist.

For over 20 years now we have been taking care of our client’s insurance needs by specializing in personalized service. We also enjoy long-standing and strong relationships with the various insurance companies we represent.
