Doug Zimmerman Jr. has been a licensed general insurance agent in Alberta since 2001. As your account manager, Doug Jr. is available to answer any questions you have in a friendly and straight forward manner and will always take the time to make sure you understand the answer. In his free time Doug enjoys keeping active, and is an avid basketball (Go Lakers!) and hockey (Go Oilers!) fan.

Doug Zimmerman started out as teacher for the Edmonton Public School Board in the 1970s, before opening Zimmerman Insurance Brokers in 1988. His wealth of experience in the business is the guiding hand for The Insurance Doctor today. Doug is an accomplished trumpet player and musician and continues to be active as performer today, best known for his appearances with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the River City Big Band.
