In 1993 Karen Dyberg took over as President of the company, and today Dyberg Insurance Inc. is dedicated to providing the best insurance products available at a reasonable cost to the clients. We offer a number of different insurance companies for both our personal lines and commercial accounts. We strive to provide outstanding service and professional, educated guidance to our clients. Our reputation as an honest and professional brokerage has been distinguished over the years by a number of awards and top performance with our clients and companies. Our staff has over 100 years of insurance related experience. Karen Dyberg is the recent past president of the Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA) (2009-2010) and director of the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) .

Mr. Albert “Butch” Dyberg founded Dyberg Agencies in May 1953 in Wetaskiwin Alberta. Over the next several years the business grew, both from acquisition and sales. In 1966 Mr. Dyberg moved to Edmonton and purchased Deshaye Agencies, which was located on Whyte Avenue. In 1967 Deshaye-Dyberg Insurance Inc.. was moved to the Scona Bowling/Billiard Building where it resided for 27 years. Through out the years there were several acquisitions of agencies. The latest purchase was in 1993 of Schmitke Insurance Services Ltd., which had been located in the Bonnie Doon Shopping Mall. . Our growing business had us seek larger premises and in 1994 we moved to our current location.
