As a broker, we work on your behalf to secure the best possible insurance product to serve your best interests. We are not agents or employees of any insurance company. We believe this independence best serves insurance consumers as a whole.

Nunavut Insurance was created in 2002 to improve the quality of insurance products and services to the people of the North, all-the-while providing northern employment and financial returns to its shareholders. That vision can be found today in our mission statement:

To increase awareness and knowledge of insurance to residents in the North, while at the same time providing a supreme standard of quality insurance products.

Today, Nunavut Insurance has 17 employees and offices in Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet, Yellowknife, and Winnipeg. Nunavut Insurance Brokers Ltd. is proudly owned by Kitikmeot Corporation, Nunasi Corporation, Sakku Investments Corporation, and Horizon Insurance Inc.
